Makers at the Malls

Makers are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the project to resurface the exposed decks at The Malls.

The Malls constructed between 1978 and 1981 have exposed asphalt decks with some areas sitting directly above some of the 29 retailer and food outlets that form The Malls.

“There have been ongoing issues of water penetration for many years but after a number of years of patch repairing the decision was taken to completely resurface the 2 exposed parking decks”

The upper decks provide parking for 510 vehicles including 16 dedicated disable spaces. The project is to run over 2 years will see the 14,000m2 top decks repaired and resurfaced using Triflex fully reinforced ProPark system.

The refurbishment will be undertaken in two phases with the first phase being completed and handed back prior to the Christmas build up. The second phase will commence shortly into the New Year. We wish everyone involved a successful project.
