As part of the ongoing investment at Regent Arcade Makers have been involved in the waterproofing on the exposed asphalt topdecks undertaken in 2011 and more recently the coating, reistatement and replacement of expansion joints to the interdeck levels in 2013.

The Regent Arcade Shopping Centre is situated in the heart of Cheltenham town centre and is key to the shopping experience providing centrally located parking to retail and the Everyman Theatre. Originally built in 1980’s, it has undergone major investment in recent years, as a result the 500 space car park was in need of a facelift to compliment the Regent Arcades recent refurbishment.

Makers proposed the use of Triflex DFS external system negating the need to replace the original asphalt surface, allowing the introduction of colour for designated disabled,parent and child spaces. Coupled with isolated repairs and the installation of the EMSEAL DSM expansion joint Makers were able to offer a robust waterproofing solution saving time & money allowing the centre to remain open during the refurbishment works.
