Makers welcomes new Arrival’s

Dan PreeceMakers welcomes Dan Preece to the Company where he will be shadowing John Walker Makers current Compliance Manager before John’s imminent retirement. Dan joins us in the capacity of Compliance Technician where he will be operating under the watchful eye of Sean Allsop.

Dan will be working between both the Health and Safety and Logistic Departments. Dan has over 6 years of construction experience where he has been dealing in site management and health and safety matters within the Highways sector.

Dan is a key sportsman reflected both from his time in education playing football at a high level but now keeps fit with plenty of weekly trips to the Gym.

Richard ThompstoneWe also welcome Richard Thompstone who joins us in our Logistics Department. Richard has over 26 years’ experience in this field having personally being responsible for the ordering, stock control and material deliveries for his previous employer.

Richard has been shadowing Steve Warner who has been operating within the Logistics department since 2008 but will soon be retiring at the end of August. Richard will be performing a key role on a national level and will be supported by both Dan Preece and Sean Allsop as the logistics department continues to serve Makers sites UK wide.

Richard is a firm West Bromwich Albion season ticket holder and has also been known to enjoy the odd beer especially at his other passion of cricket. Owner of a motorbike his driving experience goes back a fair way which is rather usual in his current role.

We wish both Dan and Richard every success in their new roles and look forward to the contribution they will both make to the business as they sit along side their individual mentors.
