Jon Westwood joins Makers

We are delighted to announce that Jon Westwood has joined us after an epic wait to push and develop our Structural Refurbishment and infrastructure work streams. Jon’s role as Business Development Manager will be to bring his 36 years of experience of direct sales within the refurbishment sector to new and established Clients, underlining the wealth of services we supply and reinforcing Makers reputation as a leading provider within our industry.

Jon brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained throughout the refurbishment industry which he has operated in for 36 years covering both distribution and contracting. Over those years Jon has held many senior positions from Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Manager to Technical Director and in that time has held many major portfolios having success wherever he has worked and creating positive impacts at all levels.

Jon has a wealth of knowledge which we are hoping he will divulge and educate our apprentices along with his enthusiasm and bags of energy beyond his years. I am delighted that Jon chose to join us despite the plethora of job offers he received and I look forward to working with him to re-establish some of our old hunting grounds and open up some new ones. Working on both sides of the supply chain has allowed Jon to develop long lasting relationships across the board and provides him a platform from which to understand all facets of the industry. Jon’s constant desire to provide a high level of service and ensure Client satisfaction sits very comfortably alongside Makers own core values and with an unbridled determination to succeed will no doubt ensure success. Jon is massively passionate about our industry and work but we hope he also takes time to enjoy some of his other passions of photography, music and motorbikes.

In his time Jon has begun something of a collection of motorbikes but over recent years has come to realise that at some point you have to ride them, and so a few have found new homes but we look forward to a successful journey that will provide ample opportunity for a quick spin, snap shot and loud music!!
