Makers To Sponsor At The British Parking Awards 2017
Makers are delighted to announce their sponsorship of “Parking in the Community Award” at the 16th British Parking Awards to be held in London on the 10th March 2017
“We are delighted to sponsor this award which recognises the hard work and effort by those individuals who seek to improve their communities as well as the image of the parking industry. We look forward to the announcement of the finalists and wish them all well.”
Simon Lamb, MD
The community award recognises the efforts from the professionals within the industry who have engaged, supported and improved their local communities with emphasis on collaboration and involvement.
The intention behind the British Parking Awards is to celebrate and recognise industry leading examples throughout the sector, from individuals through to technological advances. The awards ceremony is a celebration of all the hard work the parking industry undertakes each year and is always a lively and well supported event.
Previous years have been compared by high profile and iconic celebrities and this year is no different with the Gala event being hosted by actress / impressionist, Debra Stephenson.
Her comedy credits include ITV’s satirical sketch show Newzoids and BBC One’s The Impressions Show, in which she starred alongside John Culshaw (who was also a parking awards host).
She is a regular performer on chat and variety shows, appearing on programmes such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Loose Women, The Friday Night Project and Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.
As an actress she has appeared in Coronation Street, My Mad Fat Diary, Bad Girls, Spooks and Young Hyacinth. On stage she recently wrote and performed the Night of One Hundred Voices Tour.
14 winners will be announced during the event where a panel of judges following deliberations will reward excellence and innovation in the parking industry.
