Makers Prepares For World Cup At Twickenham
Guests and staff of Makers enjoyed first class surroundings at Twickenham to watch England against South Africa in an Autumn Series international on Saturday the 15th November. Despite England scoring 3 second half trys South Africa held on to win 28-31 in a hard fought contest. Small mistakes were severely punished which chalked up England’s 5th defeat in as many matches in front of a sellout Twickenham crowd. Although the Boks were successful in their defeat of England the result was only a small blip on the day, but not for some of the guests who were quietly supporting the Springboks in their green jerseys.
“We wanted to make all our guests feel part of the day and they all had to wear their chosen team colours….although Twickenham experienced a series of power outages early in the day we were able to supply the nations jerseys before kick off “…..
Simon Lamb, Managing Director, Makers
“Splendid day, great company in all senses and what a result and a new shirt to boot…happy days…. thanks guys”
Nick Hirschman, MB Associates.
“The suite was just stunning and the service first class, can I come to the World Cup?”
BCGL Managing Director, Plated Strip International.
“This was a first class venue and a little different from our previous box at Twickenham, it was definitely the right move for us and everyone had a great time especially the South African contingent, but as we said this is not the World Cup just a friendly…and we gave you two trys!!!’
Stuart Rooker, Finance Director, Makers
“As a rugby coach and referee you can see why it’s such a passionate game when the National anthem was sung the hairs stood up on the back of my neck and for a brief moment I nearly blew my whistle to start the game, but quickly sat back in my seat with a nice glass of beer…”
Graeme Middleton, Makers Business Development Manager, Makers
