Open Day at Allhallows
Makers provided a sneak preview to Architects, Engineers and interested parties prior to the re-opening of the Allhallows Multistorey car park in Bedford.
As part of the “gateway project” invited guests were presented with qualifying CPD sessions from SciCorr on the EMAD Technology, Sika on the products incorporated and Mark Brock Associates on the design strategy and remedial repair process.
The guests were then provided with a 40 minute guided tour of specific aspects of the car park refurbishment including the 48 megawatt solar panel generating station and use of the EMAD technology, (electro magnetic anomoly detector)
A Q & A session was held by Makers staff during refreshments following the tour
“The tour was highly informative and brought home what a transformation Makers have made” Max Woodhouse, Engineer
“Clever use of design and approach to Structural Refurbishment” Lee Rigby
The car park has recieved a significant investment and has undergone a complete renovation. It was in a very poor state of repair having earlier been ear marked for demolition and redevelopment. The car park has been brought into the 21st century. A full case study will be available shortly on the transformation of Allhallows.
