All watertight at the Water Gardens

Makers have successfully completed the re-waterproofing of the Watergardens Shopping Centre at Harlow.

The 1200 space, 15,000m² structure was constructed in 2004 and serves major retailers such as ASDA, TK MAXX, Malatan, HMV.

Makers were engaged by Wilson Bowden Developments, the original developer of the site and following an extensive design and review process, replaced the existing failing system to the large single suspended deck structure, over an 18 week phased programme.

Given the large volumes of vehicular movements, co-ordination and phasing were critical to the success of the project, for tennants and users alike.

“Makers site personnel who have significant experience in this type of high profile project, ensuring decking systems are installed correctly is the success behind the project.”

“the choices made using new generations fast cure products allow these schemes to be put back in service quickly where time is money.”

“the project was completed both on time and budget to the Clients Satisfaction.”
