BT Westgate offices is located in close proximity of Leeds City Centre and is situated amongst residential, student lets and leisure and retail outlets, offices and hotels.

Built around 1960s the building was suffering from cracks and spalling which required remedial repairs to the concretestructure. The north, south, east and west elevations all needed concrete repair and the structure needed protection.

The buildings appearance was somewhat dated and was starting to show its age of almost 60 years old. Lower sections of full length window frames had previous been bricked up inside and repairs were required to ensure the building was water tight.

The building was encased in scaffolding 5 storeys high withMonoflex sheeting
attached to protect the structure from weather conditions and it was also a climate shield for the site
