Great Start to 2026!!!

Makers are proud to announce that we have been named finalists in the Liquid Roofing and Waterproofing Association (LRWA) Awards 2026, with three projects shortlisted across two categories. The LRWA Awards has 5 categories in total, each containing 5 highly competitive projects, being finalists at the flagship event for the liquid roofing and waterproofing sector, celebrating quality, professionalism, innovation, and workmanship within one of the fastest-growing areas of the UK roofing industry.

Finalists are selected following anonymous assessment by an independent judging panel against strict criteria, including complexity, problem-solving, workmanship, and aesthetics.

Being named a finalist is a significant achievement in its own right, but having three projects recognised highlights the consistency and high standards delivered by the Makers team.

The shortlisted projects include The Trafford Centre – Sika & Makers in the Liquid Roofing Project of the Year (>1000m²) category, alongside Buckingham Road Car Park – Makers & Triflex (UK) Ltd and Midlands Distribution Centre – Makers & Triflex (UK) Ltd, both shortlisted in the Liquid Waterproofing Roofing Project of the Year category. This recognition reflects our commitment to excellence, technical expertise, and collaborative working with trusted partners.

The LRWA Awards & Gala Dinner will take place on Wednesday, 25 March 2026 at the Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Liverpool, bringing together more than 400 industry professionals to celebrate outstanding achievements across the sector. As well as category winners, the evening will recognise highly commended projects and individual contributions to skills and innovation within the industry.
