“After submitting the Watergardens Project for consideration by the NFRC you are never quite sure how it will go and to have the backing of our Roofing Body of the LRWA is something special. Cristina and James both attended the presentation dinner at the Intercontinental at the O2 in London back in May and heard all the positive comments and we were all amazed when it was called out. We were delighted when we were shortlisted and made the final but you never quite get your hopes up. Whilst it was great to get the trophy and award to mark the occasion the award reflected more than just Makers contribution and we only felt it right and proper that both the Church Commissioners for England and Cristina and her team also receive the accolade they so richly deserved. We wrote to the NFRC and asked for individually engraved trophies and we are delighted to have the opportunity to present them at the most fitting venue,…..the Watergardens itself..”
