“Tuffers” at Buckinghamshire Golf Club

Makers entered a team at the “Phil Tufnell” golf day at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club.

The day is organised to raise as much money for the Rainbow trust and Sport 4 Life organisation.

The Rainbow Trust is a Children’s Charity which provides emotional and practical support to families who have life threatening or terminal illness.

Rainbow Trust support workers join families in their own home and are there to provide practical support from diagnosis to bereavement. The charity support 1000 families a year and relies entirely on voluntary contribution. The trust celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and all help is welcome. Sport 4 life is dedicated to changing lives through the power of sport in Birmingham. Through helping people to play and participate in sport we support them to get active and be healthy, whilst improving and developing themselves in their communities.

The “skill and leadership” from “Tuffers” delivered us into a commendable 3rd place quite beyond our expectation.
